The Breast Cancer Guides project supports patients with breast cancer throughout their entire therapy, provided by specially trained medical staff. Breast Cancer Guides serve as key contact persons for questions regarding treatment, side effects, or organizational procedures. They assist patients step by step through their therapy, helping to reduce insecurities.

Through this personal and continuous support, in addition to the actual treatment, patients gain a better understanding of the treatment process and feel more securely guided through their therapy. With donations to Pinktober, this service at NCT Heidelberg is intended to be further expanded and permanently established, in order to offer even more patients optimal support during their breast cancer treatment.
