Pinktober – United Against Breast Cancer! Opportunities and Challenges
The evening will address central questions of modern breast cancer medicine: Where do we stand today in therapy? What role does personalized medicine play? What challenges do medicine, research, and care face in the future? Prof. Dr. Schneeweiss and PD Dr. Michel will provide a clear overview of the latest developments, place new scientific findings into context, and take time afterward to answer questions from the audience.
The event is aimed at patients, relatives, professionals, and anyone interested in informing themselves and contributing. It is part of the Pinktober campaign of Heidelberg University Hospital, the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg, and the Breast Center Bergstraße (BZB).

An evening for everyone who wants to see breast cancer not only as a medical issue but also as a social challenge.
Am Samstag, dem 18. Oktober 2025, lädt die Universitäts-Frauenklinik Heidelberg alle Patientinnen, Angehörigen und Interessierten zum Brustkrebs-Patientinnentag ein. Von 10:00 bis 14:30 Uhr erwartet die Besucher im Großen Hörsaal der Frauen-, Haut- und Kinderklinik (Im Neuenheimer Feld 440) ein abwechslungsreiches Programm mit Fachvorträgen, Informationen zu Diagnostik, Therapie und Nachsorge sowie Einblicken in psychoonkologische und naturheilkundliche Ansätze.
Neben den Vorträgen gibt es Informationsstände von Selbsthilfegruppen, Fachgesellschaften und Partnerorganisationen. Eine Modenschau für Brustkrebspatientinnen rundet das Programm ab.
